My name is Shen.

I make images because I have always been drawn to what they can make you feel.

A light that completely changes a room. A look. A movement. A texture. Music that transforms a scene. A silence that sometimes says more than a line of dialogue.

That is what draws me to film: the ability to create emotion out of simple details, then bring them together to tell something larger.

I like images with atmosphere. Precise frames, worked light, movements that have a reason to exist, and stories that stay in your head after a few seconds.

But behind every project, there are above all people.

I like to understand who is in front of me, what a brand wants to become, what an artist wants to convey, what a company wants people to feel. I would rather listen before creating, understand before filming.

SHEN Z was born from that desire: to build strong images without losing what matters most behind them — the human being.

Today I develop my work across directing, art direction, photography and content creation, with the ambition of building progressively more ambitious projects, in Belgium and internationally.

In time, I want to move towards larger productions, work with brands and talents who have something to say, and create films that go beyond simple content.
